The JAENCOOP Group was born in 1986 from the passion of farmers and the commitment of olive mills, most of them with a trajectory of more than 50 years.
The JAENCOOP GROUP was born in 1986 from the passion of farmers and the commitment of olive mills, most of them with a trajectory of more than 60 years, with the development of the olive sector in the province. They decided to join their passion for their work and their commitment to the olive oil sector, to create a group specialized in producing and marketing high quality olive oil, always respecting the origins and the reasons for its existence. The tradition of a 100% natural olive juice.
Since then, Jaencoop Group has worked very hard to become a major cooperative Group in the production of olive oil in the province of Jaen and a worldwide benchmark because of its size, the quality of its products and its customer service.
Nowadays it gathers over 26,000 farmers (associates), who gather more than fifteen million olive trees, mainly of the picual variety, and a growing production of the arbequina variety.
These farms are strategically located in more than twenty municipalities in the PROVINCE OF JAÉN, the largest producer of olive oil in the world, in the Natural Park of the Sierra de Cazorla Segura y las Villas and the regions of El Condado La Loma and Sierra Morena, a geographical location defined by a particular weather and a specific relief, both of which enhance the organoleptic attributes of the oil, conferring it a very special flavor.
